Job Retraining- partnerships to conduct retraining in various job fields that works with the injured soldiers condition
Job Placement- job placement strategy which will assist soldiers in connecting to opportunities in which they are qualified
Financial Assistance Program- provide monetary assistance in instances of pressing emergency financial situations
Recreation programs- outdoor recreation, rest and relation opportunities for injured soldiers and their spouses
Individual and Family Counseling Services- Cost free counseling services to soldiers and families
Host a Family Program- Designed to provide families of injured soldiers to obtain help through practical solutions
Labrador Adoption Program- Have provided effective stress relief for soldiers as they decompress from PTSD, TBI and other brain injuries
The MWSF leadership team was able to deliver presents to the children of the Wounded Warriors at Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas. The presents were the blessing of the Allen and Allen company. The company traditionally is given money by the Allen and Allen ownership to have a Christmas party for its employees. This year the employees gathered and decided to bless the ones who have sacrificed and given so much for our freedom at the special time of year.
The MWSF and several of the injured warriors owe a big thank you to the El Indio Outfitters with a special thanks to Brandon Davis who worked tirelessly to set up the weekend. The ranch showed appreciation for these Heroes sacrifices as they opened up their hearts and cabins to the troops.

Wayside Chapel in San Antonio is conducting a theater drama December 12th-14th, to Honor Our Heroes sacrifices to our nation with a performance sure to light the hearts and minds of all individuals military or not. Lt Gen (ret) Leroy Sisco thanks all the actors and individuals sacrificing so much personal time to honor those that have given so much. The performance is free to military members and dependent.
Ryan Foster undergoing treatment at Brook Army Medical Center was recently selected by Orion Media to be the feature wounded warrior on a new release TV show, ESPN’s "Grateful Nation". The show which will be part of a series is scheduled for release in 2009, and features Ryan on a dream hunt in the wilderness of Wyoming. During the 4 day hunt Ryan is able to discuss many of the challenges he has faced in his many back surgeries and the Traumatic Brian Injury he suffered in an IED explosion during combat Lt. Gen (ret) Sisco the CEO of Military Warriors Support Foundation said "It’s a privilege to be associated with ESPN and the work they are doing to bring forward the issues that the warriors and their families are facing". Ryan wife Britney was the first spouse of a wounded warrior to be selected by the MWSF to receive the first full ride scholarship at University of Central Florida. Britney will also be appearing in episodes to tell from a spouses perspective some of the everyday and long term challenges of being the spouse of an injured soldier.

of resources that came together to develop the Warrior and Family Support
Center at Brooks Army Medical Center! The development lead by Steve Huffman
from Huffman Development, and on the dreams come to life of Judith Markelz,
the Center's Grand Opening was December 1st, 2008 to serve the wounded
warriors and their families.
KJ 97’s lead personality, Randy Carroll join forces to partner with the MWSF to host 60 wounded warriors at the world famous Cowboys Dance Hall. Jessica Simpson will be present and perform for the wounded troops along with Lee Ann Womack, Tracy Lawrence, Jake Owen, John Rich, and Billy Currington. MWSF’s Lt. Gen (ret) Leroy Sisco and Executive Director Ken Eakes plan to be on hand to celebrate the Christmas Bash and express gratitude and appreciation of our troops. Ken is quoted as saying, "Because of incredible people and organizations like KJ 97 and Randy Carroll, our troops are coming home after serving our country and are connecting to wonderful opportunities such as Randy’s Christmas Bash. Its through events such as these that the troops not only feel appreciated but are able to find out more about the programs and service that so many organizations are providing to help them in difficult recoveries."
The MWSF Foundation in partnership with PGA Golf pros and Briggs Ranch Country Club have provided a dream day opportunity for golf and recreation at one of the nations premiere golf layouts. Matt Loving a pro golfer and advocate of our nations injured troops will be on hand to provide personalized lessons prior to the round. The troops will be accompanied by a Pro Golfer in each group who will play alongside the warriors.
The Military Warriors Support Foundation has a limited number of plane tickets to assist wounded troops and in some cases a family member in visiting their families. Please click here and respond with the situation you currently face and explain the need for the tickets and who the ticket will be used for. In some cases MWSF will need to book travel on the injured troops behalf.

November 1st, Trinity University in conjunction with MWSF and key volunteer leaders will be hosting the injured warriors and families to a college football game between nationally ranked Division-II football powers Trinity University and Millsap College. Trinity was the university honored for the college football play of the year last year by ESPN (the Mississippi Miracle). The play featured 7 laterals a record scoring play. The families will be treated to an all game pavilion field level tent that will have food, beverages and snacks. The game will also include MWSF very own Lt Gen (ret) Sisco giving a short speech and Trinity University honoring the warriors at "military day".
