Join us in cheering on the NASCAR Whitney Motorsports No. 46 car, driven by J.J. Yeley, Saturday, May 22nd, for the Sprint All-Star Showdown at Charlotte Motor Speedway! It'll be decked out with several MWSF decals to help us get the word out about our Foundation! “When you meet a wounded warrior in person, the freedom we enjoy in this country becomes personal. Real people risk their lives so we can chase our dreams,” said Dusty Whitney, owner of Whitney Motorsports. “We are proud to share their story and to have them at the race with us this weekend.” MWSF and the No. 46 Team are proud to host two American heroes this weekend. Purple Heart recipient SSgt.
Jason Roberts, who has served nine and half years in the United States Marine Corps and SSgt. Heriberto (Eddie) Becerrabravo, who has served eight years in the USMC will both be on pit road during the All-Star Showdown, and should Yeley race his way in, during the All-Star Challenge. SSgt Roberts lost his leg in an IED blast in the combat zone of Herat, Afghanistan. SSgt. Becerrabravo came to his aid shortly after the blast, ultimately saving his life. “NASCAR, and the No. 46 team in particular, provide an incredible opportunity to share the message of our foundation,” said Ken Eakes, executive director of the MWSF. “Telling the stories of our soldiers wounded in battle helps us help them reclaim a normal life after serving our country.” You can watch the race on the SPEED Channel. The Showdown begins at 7:30pm (Eastern), followed by the All-Star Challenge at 9:00pm.

But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. -- Isaiah 40:31
