Military Warriors Support Foundation

The Military Warriors Support Foundation (MWSF) will be conducting the 2nd annual Honoring our Heroes Tour in San Antonio, Texas. MWSF will bring the music and songs of world famous Country and Western recording artist Clay Walker to the injured warriors and their families. The MWSF recently met with city of San Antonio representatives and has aligned to be part of the 38th San Antonio appreciates the Military celebration which starts in late October and end Veterans Day, Nov. 12th.

The MWSF believes that the second iteration of the Tour should and will be more family friendly. Ken Eakes the Executive Director of the Foundation says that “MWSF will do our up most” to include the entire family at not only the concert, but family centered events afterwords. One of the most impactful things we have learned over the past year is how much helping the whole family unit is vital to the injured warrior’s recovery, we can and must continue to leverage our efforts to do just that!”.

Last year concerts Honored 24 warriors and 100 Gold Star families. The injured warriors were all given new rifles by the Foundation and a special welcome and pictures with Governor Perry, Peter Holt (owner of the SA Spurs NBA Team) and 3 Star Lt. Gen. (Ret) Leroy Sisco. They were then taken on incredible weekend recreation hunting trips were they were personally transported, mentored and helped with the challenges by Legacy Outfitters. Although the exact location and ticket information has not been announced be sure and mark your calendar for this incredible opportunities to be present and Honor our Heroes. The MWSF will be releasing more information as the project develops and more information becomes available.
