Valero Texas Open Announces Partnership with MWSF to Honor Our Heroes at PGA Event

We are proud to announce the partnership of The Military Warriors Support Foundation (MWSF) and the Valero Texas Open (VTO) to Honor Our Heroes. Through this relationship, a Warrior Hospitality Suite (WHS) will be provided on site of the VTO October the 9th thru the 12th. The suite will accommodate approximately 75 injured warriors and their families in a temperature controlled environment overlooking #18 green (see picture). The MWSF and VTO staff will be taking care of their every need from complimentary food and beverage to souvenir shirts and tournament memorabilia.
As you might be aware, many PGA TOUR players are most supportive of the military and we are planning to arrange hospitality suite visits from several players, which will be very special for injured warriors and their families. With a strong interest in golf among the troops, please join us in supporting this unique and memorable experience as we welcome “home” the injured warriors. All contributions to the Military Warriors Support Foundation, a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization, are tax deductible. The MWSF is dedicated to supporting the men and women of our military who are injured in service to our country by providing practical opportunities and scholarships, jobs and career transition.

A one‐time donation of $10 will be added to your mobile phone bill or deducted from your prepaid balance. Message and Data Rates May Apply.
