MWSF Announces Chocolate Lab Adoption Program for Injured Warriors

Event Date

Tue, 07/22/2008

MWSF has partnered with Blackhawk Companions to provide cost free well trained Chocolate Lab companion dogs to injured warriors and or their families. The injured soldier must be able to adequately care and provide reasonable space for the dogs. The labs are between 15 and 18 months of age are perfect for adoption. Melinda from Blackhawk Companions says injured soldiers have told her that the labs have been a very effective stress relief for them as they decompress from PTSD, TBI and other brain injuries. If you have interest in adapting a lab through MWSF please use the contact us tab or call MWSF at (210)615-8973.
