Senior Vice President

Tammy LeValley

Tammy LeValley is a Senior Vice President of Military Warriors Support Foundation, overseeing Family & Financial Mentoring, the Leadership4Life Program and Human Resources. An Oklahoma native, Tammy attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK. In 1999 she earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. After graduation, Tammy spent ten years in education teaching several different grade levels, from 1st grade to 5th grade.

In January 2010, Tammy and her husband, a United States Army Major, moved to Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX. While stationed at Fort Sam Houston, Tammy began to feel a desire to move out of education and into a different area of work. It was at an event for combat injured veterans that Tammy met a couple of individuals from MWSF and knew she wanted to be a part of the growing organization.

A few short months after moving to San Antonio, Tammy began her work with the Military Warriors Support Foundation. She started in administration and took on the responsibility of developing the Family & Financial Mentoring Program. Her responsibilities have shifted over the past 10 years as the organization has grown. Tammy began mentoring families and soon started hiring additional mentors to add to her team. Soon after, she moved into managing the mentoring program and organizing the human resources needs of the organization. Tammy enjoys continuing her education background through planning growth and development workshops for the MWSF staff and most recently spearheaded the development of the MWSF Leadership4Life program. Tammy now oversees the Family & Financial Mentoring Program, the Leadership4Life program and manages all functions within Human Resources. Through process development, educational support, accountability and empowerment, Tammy has been an integral part in approximately $26M of debt being paid off by individuals participating in the Family & Financial Mentoring program. Tammy also serves as a member of the MWSF Executive Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Executive Director.

Tammy and her husband now live near Lawrence, KS. They enjoy spending time together on their property outside of town, maintaining the land and growing their own fruits and vegetables.
